In Year Admissions

Hello For In Year Admissions, do I need to create Pre Admission groups for each year group? I have had a student who has already been enrolled but filled in the registration form after he had started (FAP from LA) and cannot work out how to upload his information as it asks me for a Pre Admissions Group.
